Chapter 59 Where Are You From?
"You must be a lunatic!"
Gwen is now 100% sure that her father's illness must be related to this guy.
She clenched her fists and wanted to give this bastard a hard punch in the face.
"When it comes to scoring, sometimes I am too rational."
Matt shrugged and said, "Just like I know rationally that you won't refuse my offer, and I also know that you won't punch me in the face."
He turned around and cast his gaze on the black cat who was fighting the ninja.
With a "bang", the black cat rolled over to avoid the ninja's attack, then kicked the opponent out heavily.
After completing a series of attacks, she flashed the claws in her hands and struck the ninja's chest.
Blood splattered out immediately!
Bending his arms and turning around, Black Cat's fist hit another ninja's head again.
The dull sound was accompanied by the ninja's grunt.
"Wow, nice fist."
Matt complimented Black Cat on her moves, "I've boxed once or twice, and I have to say she's pretty good, but it's a pity she doesn't know what her fists can do."
"Make a choice, whether to save your father or a thief who has nothing to do with you, Miss Gwen."
Matt gives Gwen an ultimatum.
Gwen clenched her fists tighter.
Although she wanted to punch the guy's face into a pig's head immediately, she soon loosened her fist in dejection.
If he can really save my father, does that mean I have no choice but to listen to him?
No, no!
For the sake of his father, he had to attack an innocent person.
This is completely contrary to what I have always insisted on.
Gwen lowered her head helplessly, her eyes filled with tangled pain.
She wanted to save her father more than anyone else, but she couldn't do it, and she knew her father would never want her to do so.
But if I can't even save the people I love the most, then why should I wear this mask?
For the first time, Gwen felt deeply powerless.
Is this the price of being a hero?
Taking a few deep breaths, she calmed herself down.
There must be another way.
After a struggle within herself, Gwen finally made a decision.
She raised her head, looked at Matt with a firm gaze, and said, "I"
But before she could finish her words, she was interrupted by a voice.
"Or she has a third option, which is to kill you."
The sudden sound startled everyone.
Gwen looked in the direction where the sound came from and found that Spider-Man appeared in the room at some point.
The other person was covered in a black, body-fitting uniform, with a black mask tightly fitting his face, and his white eyelids were filled with deep mystery.
The black cat, who was fighting with the ninja, escaped from the ninja's encirclement and looked at Spider-Man who suddenly appeared in shock.
Although she had read reports about the No. 7 subway line, she was still skeptical about the existence of Spider-Man.
I didn't expect to see Spider-Man here.
Matt Murdoch didn't expect an uninvited guest to jump out halfway. He pushed the frame of his sunglasses and looked at Peter.
At this time, the ninjas who were besieging Black Cat also stopped their actions.
"Spider-Man?!"
Matt rested his hands on his guide stick, his expression no longer as calm as before.
"My office is unusually busy tonight. Even the famous Spider-Man is here as a guest." He sighed pretentiously. "It seems that I shouldn't have attacked Miss Black Cat. After all, hurting your guests will always bring bad luck."
Peter looked at the night demon with a personality reversal, took a step forward and said, "Do you think I am a guest too?"
He adjusted the timbre of his voice so Gwen couldn't recognize his voice.
"Of course, everyone here tonight is a guest."
Matt smiled and said, "Although I'm not ready for you to come to my house as a guest."
"pity."
Peter shook his head and said, "I am not a welcome guest tonight."
As soon as he finished speaking, he took a step forward and his body moved suddenly.
Matt's pupils shrank, but before he could react, Peter appeared in front of him and grabbed his neck with his right hand.
With years of experience, he subconsciously raised his guide stick to block the other party.
"Kacha!"
With a crisp sound, his weapon was broken instantly.
Peter's right hand covered with an exoskeleton broke his stick at the same moment, and then struck his body with the remaining force.
With a "bang", he was hit hard in the chest.
His body felt as if struck by lightning, and severe pain instantly attacked his nerves.
Then his body was thrown backwards heavily.
He hit the ground, his back hurt as if his spine was broken, and his sunglasses were knocked off.
Peter's sudden action caught everyone off guard, and the air was silent for a second.
Matt covered his chest with his hands, blood oozing from the corners of his mouth, and he was extremely horrified.
He didn't expect the other party to be so fast, and his body senses did not give any warning reaction.
Where on earth did this monster come from? !
The black cat had the same thought as Matt, who was lying on the ground.
Why is this guy so fast?!
And this guy called "Spider-Man" did all this while strolling around leisurely, seemingly without any effort.
Matt's men were stunned for a second, then rushed towards Peter as if waking up from a dream.
With a "bang", Peter's fist knocked away the ninja closest to him.
He then grabbed the ninja behind him by the throat and slammed him to the ground.
The chairs in the room were instantly smashed into pieces, and the broken wood chips flew into the air.
The ground shook slightly after being hit.
The exoskeleton of his arms extended into sharp claws similar to those of aliens. The natural killing skills that were innate in his bones made his movements full of the beauty of violence and killing.
Gwen was still thinking about helping, but she didn't expect the other party to deal with the group of ninjas in an instant. The speed was so fast that she was stunned.
With a "bang", Peter kicked a ninja who was lying on the ground groaning, and then turned his eyes to Matt.
"you"
Matt coughed, holding his chest, and looked at Peter. "We didn't have a direct conflict, right? Or are you the kind of superhero who does what's right?"
Matt, knowing that he was no match for Peter, launched a verbal offensive against him.
"Be brave enough to do justice?"
After Peter killed the ninja, he slowly walked towards him.
"Such words should have nothing to do with me."
As he spoke, he lifted Matt up by the collar, his eyes beneath his white eyelids staring directly into the other's unseen eyes, "The reason I'm here is just to repay a favor."
He said as he glanced towards Gwen.
Gwen immediately thought of the scene on the platform where she jumped up to catch the other person.
