Chapter 58 Matt's Life Lesson
When Gwen heard the other party calling her name, she was stunned and her heart was in turmoil.
How does this guy know his identity?
I was clearly wearing a mask!
"What? You don't believe I can recognize you even though you're wearing a mask, Miss Gwen?"
Matt took a step forward and said to Gwen, "Even though I'm blind, I can still see some things."
"I've been keeping an eye on Miss Gwen since the tragedy at Midtown High School."
He said in a leisurely tone, "The fact that you were able to kill that spider monster shows that Miss Gwen is not an ordinary person. Your actions towards Miss Black Cat just now really surprised me. Plus, after I called Miss Gwen Stacy tonight, you ended up coming here."
He explained to Gwen why he recognized her, "Miss Gwen, you were also at the scene of the No. 7 subway accident. These are not coincidences. You always look different."
His eyes flickered with a playful look, "I can't think of anyone else standing in front of me right now except Miss Gwen."
Gwen felt a little depressed when she was recognized by the other party for the first time while wearing a mask.
But she quickly adjusted her mood and asked the other party directly: "What do you want to do?"
"Don't get me wrong, I don't mean any harm, I just want to help you."
Matt said he was not a bad person, "You may not know what you can do, but I can help you."
"Help me with what?"
"Many, including how to get your father back to normal."
Matt said seriously: "The doctors can't do anything about your father's illness, right? But I can solve everything."
When Gwen heard the other party say that he could cure her father's illness, her breathing unconsciously became heavier.
Before Gwen could speak, the woman Matt called "Black Cat" said to Gwen, "Don't trust him. If you make a deal with the devil, you will be doomed."
Black Cat glanced at Matt and said, "He's not a good guy."
Matt sighed and said, "What a childish woman."
He looked at Gwen and adjusted his tie. "Child, someone as experienced as you would not think that the world is black and white like poor Miss Black Cat."
"You always speak sweet words, but never tell the truth."
The black cat stretched lazily and said, "I have no doubt that the pajama girl's father's illness was caused by you."
When Matt heard Black Cat say this, a cold light flashed across his sunglasses.
"You know what? Miss Black Cat, I hate cats."
He said to the black cat, "Because they have parasites in their bodies."
“They are usually found in cat feces and can be spread through contact.
There is also raw meat, which sometimes survives even after being cooked.
The parasite disrupts dopamine levels in its host, altering brain chemistry.
Some people speculate that this parasite is the main cause of "Miss Cat Syndrome" because it constantly stimulates the brain, causing the host's mind to become increasingly paranoid and eccentric.
There is even a rumor that there is a link between this parasite and schizophrenia.”
Matt said as he walked towards the black cat.
"And you, Miss Black Cat, you suffer from Miss Cat Syndrome, and the specific symptoms are: you can't let go of the past, and choose to torture yourself constantly." Black Cat's eyes became sharp and shot at Matt like a sword.
"You think your father's death is related to me, so you keep bothering me. You think the USB drive in your hand contains evidence of my crime. No, it's just ordinary data."
Matt pretended to be very regretful and said, "Last time you stole the mayor's belt from his office, you were just trying to lure me out."
"I understand you very well."
He pushed up his red sunglasses. "You lost your father, and you think I robbed you of your childhood innocence. When you go to sleep at night, you hate me and want to kill me. You kids."
Sighing, he said to Black Cat: "People always want to pay this with blood, and that with blood. Only when there are fewer motives, will such things decrease. Don't you know that?"
Gwen, who was standing next to him, was a little dazed after listening to Matt's words.
She turned her gaze to the black cat next to her.
So the other person’s father was killed by this Matt?
That is
Gwen immediately thought of something bad.
Black Cat's father was killed by this guy. Will he treat his own father the same way he treated Black Cat's father Na Yang?
Was it this bastard who poisoned his own father? !
Gwen turned her angry glare on Matt.
Black Cat's anger, provoked by Matt, also surged out. This devil was always so eloquent that she couldn't keep calm.
"You will pay for your crime with blood today and die here, Murdoch."
"Oh?! I don't think so."
Matt shook his head at the black cat, "I don't think my death will be controlled by others."
"I never know what will happen after the end, but when that moment finally comes, I will not hesitate to kill myself in any way. There are thousands of ways to die in the world: knife, gun, drug, fire, car accident, jumping off a cliff, throwing myself into a lake, provoking a gang, I can even grab a handful of stones on the side of the road and eat them, but these things are in my hands."
The black cat snorted coldly, "You, a devil, have your own philosophy of life, but what are you going to do with all this now? Do you want to discuss your concept of death with me? Don't try to be so nauseous when you talk to me."
Matt stared at her and shook his head, "Of course not. I just wanted to discuss your perspective on life with you. You and I are the same. In fact, we are the same kind of people."
He paused and continued:
"We are all survivors. We have to do what we have to do every day, but more importantly, we all enjoy it. You are a devil, and I am a devil too, and we don't mind being devils. Of course, I mind less than you.
You are still pretending that you have been treated unfairly and abused, and you regard yourself as a victim, like a young lady making a fuss, as if the whole world is against you. You then press your forehead with the back of your hand in a pretentious manner and say: I live in hatred! "
The black cat rushed over before he could finish.
The whispers of this demon made her unable to control her emotions anymore.
Her movements were very smart and quick, but the ninja standing behind Matt immediately stopped her.
"Now, let's make a deal, Miss Gwen."
Matt aimed his gaze at Gwen, "If you kill Black Cat, your father will be safe. How's that for a deal?"
Gwen froze when she heard his words.
