Chapter 19 Kidnapping
The night is as dark as ink and dotted with stars.
A faint beam of light shines through the mist-shrouded cave, gently falling on the rock wall, emitting a dim and soft light.
"You said my future is--"
"dark?"
Kalista smiled and said, "It sounds interesting."
She obviously didn't quite believe it.
Soraka glanced at her and said meaningfully:
“Even when the flames fade and everything seems to have vanished, there may still be a faint spark hidden deep within the ashes.”
"As long as it is still burning, it is enough to illuminate all the dark corners of the world. As long as it continues to shine, the light of hope will not disappear."
"I don't understand."
Soraka chuckled softly, "You don't need to understand. The future is uncertain."
Callista became increasingly confused.
She knew she couldn't waste time on this meaningless conversation, so she said bluntly:
"Sorry, I don't have extra time to think about this. I came here just to find the answer to a question."
Soraka shook her head slightly:
"Kalista of Kada Hegayari, you are a very rational person and you will not easily believe those who claim to be able to foresee the future."
“In fact, most of those who claim to be prophets are nothing more than empty phantoms.”
"So now you're telling me that only your prophecy is true? Why are everyone else liars and you not?"
Soraka said: "It doesn't matter whether you believe me or not. It is the same day and night. It doesn't take belief to become the truth. The truth is the truth."
"Show me the evidence and make me believe it."
"I don't need to prove myself, but I know you are looking for the island hidden in the fog, and I think it might be better if you return empty-handed."
"If you insist on going, I can tell you that the blonde in the sea will lead the way for you."
Kalista was a little annoyed. She didn't like this kind of roundabout code: "Can you give me a clear answer?"
Soraka sipped her teacup and didn't want to say anything more.
Her face was full of regret and sympathy:
"That's all I'm saying."
Callista regretted coming here. It turned out that this so-called prophet was only good at mystifying things.
She bowed her head, then turned and left.
Just as she was about to walk out of the cave, the ethereal voice came again.
"This pool is very deep and connected to the bay outside."
Kalista frowned and turned her head. The creature with strange words was staring at the moonlight reflected from the waterfall, as if thinking about something, and did not look at her.
"I feel like this Soraka is playing tricks. She's just a prophet, but she's just fooling people."
"That's right, the words don't make sense, and I don't understand what they mean."
"Besides, how could Sister Ka's future be dark? It's Viego who's to blame!"
“Is it possible that this is a setup?”
"Bureau?"
"They are just scammers. That Philos and Soraka are in cahoots. They created a prophet gimmick and then went out to cheat people."
"Hiss! It seems to have a lot to say."
"Damn it, I was expecting that if I could be called the Son of the Stars, I would have to play a mysterious witch or something like that. But now I see, it's too cheap."
"However, the prophet's character has been established. He has to speak directly. How can he be mysterious?"
on the stage.
Su Xinghe paused.
There are only ten minutes left.
He frowned and thought for a while, and then it was Razu Firoz's turn to appear.
His homeworld, Osh'ra V'Zuan, was the predecessor of Piltover and Zaun.
Why do we need to write the full name of this merchant? Because later on, a super family in Piltover was called the Ferros family. In other words, this person is the ancestor of the Blue Steel Shadow Camille.
"She walked through the dense jungle, climbed over rock piles and cliffs, and reached the top of the rock tower where she came from."
"There, she was surrounded on three sides."
"Philos is leading a few sailors with crossbows pointed at her."
"If you don't want to be riddled with crossbow arrows and die miserably in this wilderness, throw your spear off the cliff."
"He can actually speak Kamavia. This damn sinister villain, he already knew that I am the princess of Kamavia."
"I was kidnapped by him, my hands were tied, and he held a knife to my neck, trying to force Kamavia to trade with the Philos family."
"At this critical moment, a picture suddenly flashed through my mind—"
"That was Sokala's last whisper."
"I remember that the pool was very deep and connected to the bay outside."
"I seemed to realize something and turned around in panic. "
"Below the cliff behind me is a deep cold pond surrounded by dense forests."
"So, without any hesitation, I suddenly broke free from the sailor's restraints and jumped off the cliff."
Boom boom——
A thunderous sound exploded on the water.
Kalista fell from a high altitude and hit the water pool heavily, splashing huge water.
Her body was mercilessly washed and slapped by the undercurrent. At this moment, a strong feeling of suffocation made her chest feel tight and short of breath, as if a ruthless hand was tightly strangling her throat.
She nearly drowned in the dark water.
However, her strong desire to survive prevented her from surrendering, and she struggled hard.
With his bound hands he was unable to exert any force, and he could only rely on his legs to push back and flutter.
Finally, when she had almost exhausted her last bit of strength, she saw the moonlight above her head.
The faint but bright light gave her hope and direction.
After surfacing, she adjusted her posture, pulled out the dagger from her waist with trembling fingers, bit it with her teeth, and cut the rope that bound her hands.
After being freed from her restraints, she swam quickly to the nearby shore.
Looking back.
It turned out that the situation in the water just now was extremely dangerous.
In the cold and dark water, dozens of sharp fish fins were circling where she had just struggled.
After a short rest, Kalista carefully headed for the secluded harbor where the Sword Eagle was located. She perfectly avoided the pursuit of Philos and his men and swam back to the Sword Eagle along the waterway.
"Escape from death."
"Back on the Swordhawk, she began to ponder the prophecy given by Soraka."
"What happened just now forced her to rethink."
"What on earth is this blonde in the sea?"
“I don’t understand, but it’s been a long time since I came out. I’m worried about the situation in China, so I want to go back and take a look first.”
"Damn, just as I expected, this Philos is not a good guy."
"What's the point of ganging up on me? Come fight me, Sister Ka, one on one!"
"Damn it, Sister Ka almost died here."
"So this is what Soraka meant by her last words. Doesn't that mean that her identity as a prophet is real?"
"Think carefully."
"Wait, let me think about what I said before."
"So, Sister Ka's future is dark?"
"So what happened next?"
