Chapter 12: Fourth Brother, Can We Reconcile?
Happy times are always short. As Hogg's acting skills became more and more proficient, he became greater in Peporato's heart. The look he gave Hogg became more respectful and tender. That look mixed with heavy emotions made Hogg feel that something was wrong.
[Damn! Maybe this is too big a trick]
The Emperor's psychic communication has arrived, and as the Emperor's Vision approaches, everyone is waiting for the Emperor's arrival in the square of Olympia.
The huge Stormbird transport landed, and teams of Guards filed out of it, neatly lined up on both sides, like golden corn in a cornfield, and behind them came the Space Marines of the Fourth Legion.
Still the familiar golden giant, still the familiar appearance, still the familiar charming eyes, the aura comparable to a human aphrodisiac, created around the emperor. Under this brilliant golden light, any human will follow him voluntarily.
The first time Peporato saw the Emperor, he knew that he was his biological father. He was so strong and powerful, so great and bright. But when he turned around, he saw his mother, who should have been smiling, leaning against him tremblingly.
I stroked the golden bracelet my mother gave me yesterday. Why? Why? Why didn't my mother feel happy but became timid instead? Damn you, how did you treat her!!!
Under this violent fluctuation, the Emperor's seductive aura had the opposite effect. Even though he was my father, even though I had no chance of winning.
Recalling every detail of the past few days, from the encounter in the wilderness, the teaching in the workshop, the cautiousness when afraid of being rejected, to the surprise when I called her mother, maternal love nourishes Pebolatu's twisted heart.
"Ah! Mother!!! I will never let you cry again," Pebolatu roared in his mind.
The moment he arrived in Olympia, the Emperor discovered that Hogg was abnormal. When he left two years ago, he was still a boy, but how come he had turned into a woman when he saw him again?
Perhaps it was a habit from his previous life that was awakened. After all, he had secretly worn women's clothes in the house in his previous life. The emperor did not notice anything wrong and did not delve into it.
The sound of footsteps moved Hogg's heart, and a sense of excitement of committing suicide kept teasing him, "If the whole thing is just to please others, it will be meaningless, fuck! Do it!"
Just when Peporato was about to question the Emperor, he saw his mother smiling at him and waving her hand. Then he heard his mother say, "My dear! You are here."
"Bang!" The golden psychic palm knocked the figure to the ground.
This scene stunned Pebolatu for a moment, followed by violent rage.
"Emperor!! You deserve to die!!! How dare you hit my mother!"
Before he finished speaking, the Primarch's huge figure leaped forward, and his angry fist slammed into the Emperor's head, and a burst of golden psychic energy drove back everyone.
Punch after punch, like real anger baking the ground, but as the emperor of mankind, how could he be called in vain? In the blink of an eye, the two had already thrown a hundred punches. The powerful force shattered the floor, and the debris flew far away. The square was already shattered as if it had been bombed by a fighter plane.
In the battle between the two, both steel and rock were crushed like waste paper.
But after all, the old ones are still the most experienced. The angry Peporato was finally captured by the emperor after the two of them demolished half of the palace.
"Let me go, you coward, you dare to hit my mother, you deserve to die!" Pebolatu roared at the top of his lungs.
"Your mother? My child, are you sure that is your mother? You have been fooled. Hogg Menethil is my eleventh son, your younger brother." The golden psychic energy poured directly into the mind of the rebellious son at his feet. Pieces of memory were read out, and Hogg's information was passed on.
Pebolatu stopped struggling, his facial features twisted rapidly, and the Emperor loosened his restraints. Two pairs of eyes searched for targets nearby, and soon a figure crawling towards the edge was discovered. The roar of fierce fighting around him stopped, and as if sensing the murderous aura, Hogg stopped crawling and tried to reduce his presence. But he was soon pulled up by a large hand covered in golden armor. Hogg, who was forced to hang in the air, was stared at by two pairs of murderous eyes.
"Gu!, Fourth Brother, can we reconcile?"
Hogg, who maintained Martha's face, burst into tears, and acted like a corgi who had made a mistake. "Pepé! You said you wouldn't let me cry! Pepé."
Deathly silence was the main theme in Pebolatu's heart, as if nothing could interfere with his judgment. With his back to the sun, a shadow covered his face, and an unsettling voice came from under the black face.
"Dad, do you mind?"
"You can do whatever you want. He's very tough and basically invincible."
Even though the many Space Marines who were watching had undergone 19 surgeries and turned into little supermen, they all chose to silently turn off the sensors on their power armor and closed their eyes. After all, watching their father being beaten and being toyed around like a dog were not things that descendants should do.
"I have already advised my father not to do this," Leila Lynn thought silently.
Crisp sounds were heard one after another, and shrill screams lingered in everyone's mind.
We still don't know what happened that day, but all the mortals present underwent a memory-erasing operation, half of the royal city was destroyed, and the Primarch of the 11th Legion Black Watch was shoveled out of the ground and transported back to the Black Light for recuperation.
Ten thousand years later, this incident became a legend. When a Slaanesh Daemon discovered the truth and transformed himself into a silver-haired woman and appeared before the Fourth Legion, he was torn to pieces by the furious Peporatus, exiled into the Warp and hunted for nearly a century.
In a hidden room on the Emperor's Dream
There was only one crude decoration on the simple wall, a wall clock with a wooden case, the swinging pendulum swinging back and forth, and a chessboard placed horizontally between the two people.
"Number Four, you will return to Terra with me," the Emperor picked up a chess piece with a relief of a metal fortress on it and placed it at the front of the chessboard.
"Cough!! Cough!" A cough was heard. The emperor thought about it and put the chess piece back to the back.
"How sure are you, Neos?" Hogg asked, slumped in his chair.
"...I don't know. No one can guarantee the direction of the future." He took out the dark monster chess piece and threw it at the useless and rebellious piece on the opposite side.
"And number four? Honestly, I really want to cut open your brain to see how much emotional intelligence you have. Although your offspring possess extraordinary powers, they are still human. Mortal emotions are only stronger. Even if you just perfunctorily deal with it, a few words can avoid most disputes, but you didn't do that."
"As long as the Great Crusade is successfully completed, everything will be fine," the emperor still insisted.
"Even if I know your memory, I still cannot fully see the future. The future information in your memory is all messy to me."
Rubbing the monster chess piece in his hand, Hogg thought for a while, and put it into the chessboard. As if attracting the twisted darkness on the chessboard, Hogg's expedition began.
