2. Sources of inspiration
If you have read the book "Shut Up, Senior Sister!", you may still have some impression of it.

In Chapter 337 of this book, the protagonist Jiang Miao, as an online writer, wrote a new book called "There's Something Wrong with My Tenants".

This is the most original draft of the book "Rekindling the Green Years".

The idea for this was recorded in my inspiration library as early as January 22.

Before writing "Rebirth: Ten Years Against the Current", I had wanted to directly write this novel which starts from high school.

Because I have written two books in a row about college plots, I am a little tired.

But since it was my first time trying to have multiple female protagonists, and also my first time to write a serious career story, my idea at the time was to write a book to practice my writing skills first.

I will save the high school plot that I want to write for later when I have a better grasp of it.

With this idea in mind, Ten Years Against the Current was born.

I wrote it in a hurry according to the standard template of rebirth literature. The heroine's name was originally "Yan Zhusheng" and "Xu Youyu".

But I liked these two names very much and was reluctant to use them on an experimental work, so I temporarily changed the names.

Yanchicu is simply the homonym of "jealous".

Xu Niannian is taken from the "niannian" in "niannian youyu".

The name "Xu Youyu" in this book is a combination of the meanings of "abundance year after year" and "it is better to teach a man to fish than to give him a fish".

After more than two years, I am finally able to write this story, and I am very happy.

3. Contents of this book
I thought a long time ago that I must write a high school-themed rebirth novel in the future.

The protagonist's goal after rebirth is no longer to target Tencent, Alibaba and ByteDance, but to focus on daily life.

Occasionally, you can make a little money with the help of the foresight of the reborn, and gain some benefits from the information gap, and earn enough money to meet your needs in this life.

And use the remaining time to squander and enjoy, and truly experience high school and college life without any worries.

Sometimes I see comments from some book friends, saying things like "You can buy Bitcoin", "Why not invest in stocks?", "Buy lottery tickets" and so on.

I can understand your feelings, but after reading so many rebirth articles, I don’t know if you have ever had another idea.
