Chapter 28: Seeking votes [Happy 51! ]

Chapter 28: Seeking Tickets [Happy May Day! ]

Kowtow before opening the door.

clap clap.

In the blink of an eye, I have become an experienced author who has been in the industry for four years. I can no longer say that I am a newcomer and can do anything. I start to feel pressure.

Writing this book made me feel more anxious than the previous one, probably because I had higher expectations for the results.

But when I was looking forward to getting results, I changed some of my writing styles, which was actually a rather stupid thing to do.

Generally speaking, it is safer to try less for new works. If you write in the same way as you have done before, the results are guaranteed. If you try something new rashly, you will have to bear the risk of failure.

But I don’t really like it. I just want to add something new to every book.

When I wrote the second book, I added some elements that were not in the first book, such as love, competition, training, etc., which I had never tried before.

Especially the element of competition, which has always been the most impressive part of my previous book, so this time I considered continuing to use competition as the main theme, and having some academy battles and the like, interspersed with some interesting boys and girls, which will be similar to the main line of the previous book, and the results should be stable.

But after thinking about it, I still feel that what is in this book is what I want to express more at the moment.

Then it was determined that the main element of this book might be detective work.

I have always liked the fun + suspense model. In the first two books, I liked to intersperse some small cases, but this book is mainly a detective story, and it is indeed my first attempt.

It will indeed be a bit more tiring.

The case was really brain-burning, but I didn't expect that it was even more brain-burning how to solve it, how many clues to give, too few clues to readers, it would be suspected of self-entertainment, and readers would not have the fun of solving the mystery; too many clues to readers would easily guess the answer, and they would feel that the plot was too simple. I will gradually explore this aspect and try to grasp it well next time.

By the way, there are often comments saying that this book is similar to Dafeng. I have also been reading Dafeng recently, and I have read about a hundred chapters. I think the plot and character setting are not very similar. Maybe the style and subject matter are more similar?
I'm used to this. People say the first book is like Tokyo Monk, and the second book is like Spirit Sword Mountain. Maybe a certain book or a certain character left such a deep impression on people in this subject matter that it will always be brought up. With more and more online novels, this is inevitable.

Especially in the field of Xianxia detective stories, Dafeng is basically a benchmark. It is normal for people to think of it. I don’t care. It’s not a bad thing to be like Dafeng. I have said before that I would be satisfied if I could achieve half of Dafeng’s achievements.

It’s just that the newspaper seller is an author whom I respect and envy very much, so if anyone brings it up in the comment section and wants to defend me, there is no need to attack Dafeng.

I will delete any comments that are quarreling, and I have done the same in the previous books. It is okay to say who is better, and it is okay to make normal comparisons. Try not to praise or dislike others in the comments or chapters, especially don't dislike others.

(You'd better step on me gently.)
I just thought of this and would like to briefly mention this issue. Try not to attack any other authors in my book. The main purpose of my posting this single chapter is to ask for monthly votes.

Hahaha, the real purpose is revealed. It will be May Day soon after midnight, and our new book has tens of thousands of words, so it's time to rush to the new book list. Although I don't know how the current new book list formula is calculated, it's always a good idea to vote for more monthly tickets.

The performance of this book has been pretty good so far. I joked with my editor that it was 7,000 strong. That means the number of readers in my backend has been steadily increasing, and it has hardly changed.

However, I can’t see the problem much during this period, because it’s not time to expose it yet, and the readers now are all the readers I’ve accumulated before. They are basically old friends, and some of them have read my posts since I was writing in the Shanghai Black Room. I’m familiar with their IDs, so they are definitely more tolerant of me.

Starting next month, I will still have to give it a try and get on the monthly ticket list and the new book list to increase some exposure and attract some new readers to come in and see the quality.

Otherwise, I can’t judge how well this book is written.

I did not mention the issue of the leader adding chapters to this book, because my experience with the previous book told me that the manuscripts I had were limited and I simply could not add enough chapters, and in the end, there was still a shortage. Using too many manuscripts would affect the quality of the update.

However, the alliance leader can get less and the monthly tickets can be more.

I plan to add more chapters to this book in response to monthly votes, one chapter for every 10,000 monthly votes (that is, one chapter will be added when it reaches 10,000 monthly votes, and one chapter will be added when it reaches 20,000 monthly votes, and so on).

Although it doesn't sound like a lot, it's hard for me to stick to it. I roughly calculated and felt that the number of additional chapters should be within the acceptable range of my manuscripts.

The issue of updating has always been a big problem for me. I can only try to keep it stable and take fewer days off. Especially during the new book period, it is impossible to update too quickly. After 200,000 words, it will be removed from the new book list. It is best to increase the exposure on the list before it is put on the shelves on June 1.

At least, I can guarantee the extra chapters in exchange for monthly tickets for the time being (after all, it won’t be too much). If you give me enough monthly tickets, I will give me enough extra chapters.

I used to call everyone brothers, but now that I’m older, I don’t call everyone brothers anymore.

Now let’s look at the parents who provide us with food and clothing in this chapter.

And to the parents who will read this chapter in the future.

There may also be parents who haven’t seen this single chapter.

Vote for the monthly ticket.

Please, I kowtow to you all again.

Snap, snap, snap.

(One more thing, follow-up reading is especially important during the new book period. This book still has more than a thousand words left to follow up and there will be a new book event. Friends who like it should try not to keep the book and follow up all the way. Thank you.)
