Chapter 45 Daily life

Chapter 45 Daily life
Back in the kitchen, Luo Mu planned what dishes to prepare today.

The dishes to be made revolve around the crops that have been harvested today, including cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, cabbages and strawberries. Although there are many varieties, they are not suitable as staple foods. In many dishes, they usually appear as supporting roles.

Considering that among the dozen or so Pokémon, some are meat-eaters and some are vegetarians, the dishes cannot be monotonous and need to be diversified.

After a busy period, Luo Mu served a few dishes to the eagerly awaited Pokémon who had just returned from cleaning the mud.

The crisp, tender and fragrant cucumbers harvested from the fields were made into smashed cucumbers. The sweet and sour taste was very popular with the four mosquito coil tadpoles.

Because there was already smashed cucumber, the taste would be repetitive if the eggplant was made into a cold dish, so Luo Mu made it into steaming fish-flavored eggplant.

In addition, there are the most classic scrambled eggs with tomatoes and braised fish made from fish bought from the market.

The dessert is vegetable and fruit salad mixed with yogurt and some crops.

The table in the small house could not accommodate so many Pokémon at all, so Luo Mu had no choice but to move the battlefield outside in the open air.

The sour, sweet and crispy smashed cucumber, the salty, sweet and salty fish-flavored eggplant, the ever-stable tomato scrambled eggs, and the rosy-colored braised fish with tender but not greasy meat, every bite leaves a lingering fragrance on your lips and teeth, with a hint of spiciness.

The salad as a dessert after the meal seemed to be very popular with the two young cottonwoods. They dug one foot into the ground to stabilize their bodies, buried half of their faces in the salad bowl in front of them, and made happy sounds while eating.

Bai Pengpeng looked at his two little friends helplessly yet doting, occasionally lowering his head to eat small bites of salad, feeling the taste and sense of accomplishment that came from the strawberries he cultivated.

It has been a while since it settled down on the farm. Although it does not have the novelty of flying in the wind as it does in the wild, it is immersed in such a simple yet fulfilling life.

Perhaps this is the feeling of "home" that it once learned from other Pokémon during its journey floating in the wind.

After the pleasant lunch time is over, the Pokémon with satisfied looks on their faces take naps if they want, or play or train in the open space if they want to burn off their excess energy.

Swampert swung his fists with great force, while his opponent, the Azure Blade Demon, was like a calm swordsman, slightly turning his body to avoid some attacks. When faced with an attack that he could not avoid, he raised the flaming swords on his arms to block or counterattack.

Occasionally, when Swampert's fist or Bladeblade's dual swords miss the ground, a huge hole or deep ravine will often appear. If an ordinary Pokémon is hit by such a blow, it will probably end miserably.

Under the careful care of Moltres, Growlithe watched intently, its black eyes hidden under its fur watching their movements without blinking, very seriously.

At first, Moltres didn't want to accept that a single divine bird like herself suddenly had a son, and this son called her mom and the human Luo Mu dad.

However, this little guy was really enthusiastic and persistent, and Moltres, who had never had any friends and had never experienced such sincere enthusiasm from other creatures, couldn't resist it at all.

Perhaps the emotions generated when hatching the eggs also played a role in it. Today, Moltres is indeed under the control of Growlithe. Even in his spare time, he will follow Growlithe with his eyes, paying attention to what it is doing.

Luo Mu, who noticed the changes in Moltres, smiled with interest and thought that the subsequent developments would probably become interesting.

Luo Mu smiled as he watched the stories created by the interactions between the different Pokémon on the farm. Suddenly, he felt sleepy, but he didn't want to resist it. He yawned and looked at the bright sunshine in the sky. He murmured, "I've been busy all morning. The weather is nice, so I might as well take a nap."

After thinking for a moment, Luo Mu's eyes wandered to the few Pokémon that were still present.

Swampert and Blademaster were fighting fiercely, so I decided not to disturb them. Besides, it didn't feel good to lean against their hard muscles and cold armor.

As for Moltres, Luo Mu felt that he was not familiar enough with it to use it as a bed for a nap, and the sizes of Puffball, the Little Cottons and Mimikyu were too small.

After much thought, I can only choose between the Roentgen cat taking a nap on the ground and the Dragonite floating in the sky.

Luo Mu asked himself in his heart whether he wanted to sleep on a furry "bed" or a soft and elastic "bed" today, and he quickly made a decision.

Let’s take a nap together with Kuailong today!
Luo Mu immediately called out to the sky, and after Dragonite landed on the ground like a gust of wind, Luo Mu told Dragonite in its suffocating embrace that he wanted to invite it to take a nap together.

Kuailong was very happy and immediately chose a place with good sunlight and lay on his back on the ground. He patted his round belly and signaled Luo Mu to sleep freely.

Luo Mu chuckled and chose the position he felt most comfortable in, lying on Dragonite's belly. The soft, slightly undulating belly was as good as any high-end mattress.

Perhaps, only Snorlax, which is larger in size, can compete with Dragonite in this regard.

Although he really wanted to capture a Snorlax to use as his own nap bed, after considering the horrific appetite of this Pokémon, Luo Mu felt that all the crops grown on his small farm might not be enough to feed Snorlax, so it was just a thought.

Unconsciously, Luo Mu fell asleep under Dragonite's gentle gaze. Seeing this, Mimikyu, who was amusing himself in the shadow, ran into the house with a thin blanket on his shadow claws.

Mimikyu carefully covered Luo Mu with a thin blanket. It was very satisfied as long as it could do these things.

Luo Mu was awakened by a burst of noise and a wet licking feeling on his cheek. He opened his slightly hazy eyes and found that the Pokémon were surrounding the two young Pokémons, not knowing what they were doing.

When Growlithe found that he had finally licked Luo Mu awake, he barked excitedly, which immediately attracted the attention of the Pokémon over there.

Bai Pengpeng hurriedly jumped in front of Luo Mu. Without hands, he could only use anxious actions to attract Luo Mu's attention.

"what happened?"

All of Luo Mu's tiredness disappeared. He frowned and followed Bai Pengpeng to the young Pokémon who were surrounded by Pokémon.

The two young cottonwoods had strange expressions on their faces at this moment, curled up in place, as if they were bearing some unknown burden.
