Chapter 294: Outburst on a Rainy Night
"what?"
Peter looked at the little rascal in surprise, not knowing what she meant.
"another me?"
"That's a fake one."
Gwen told Peter what she had just experienced.
After listening, Peter nodded.
"That's probably a female. Anyway, her speed and sense of strength are quite different from yours."
Gwen expressed her feelings.
"Or the other party can disguise himself, or has mastered some kind of transformation ability like a wizard."
The little rascal had more associations, "Maybe that woman is a magician!"
Peter thought about the Marvel world and the women who had the ability to transform or disguise themselves.
Could it be a mutant?
He fell into deep thought.
After the three of them talked for a few words, it was getting late, so they went back to their room to rest.
As it was still raining outside, the little naughty did not go back and stayed in the guest room.
After Peter entered the room, he tidied up the room and took out his cell phone.
There are many missed calls and text messages on the phone.
Although Aunt May and Uncle Ben were on vacation, they heard the news about the spider plague in New York City.
The two elders were worried about his situation. Since they couldn't get through to him on the phone, they sent many text messages to ask about his situation.
As Peter was replying to Uncle Ben's message, there was a knock on the door.
He opened the door and saw Gwen standing outside.
"Gwen?"
"You don't mind if I come in, Peter?"
Gwen asked quietly, glancing to both sides.
She felt a little guilty.
The naughty boy was downstairs and she was afraid that he could hear her voice.
"Of course I don't mind."
Peter closed the door gently and looked at Gwen, who was feeling guilty.
"Do you want to share your recent insights with me, Gwen?"
Peter gently closed half of the window to prevent the rain outside from being blown in by the wind.
"Why do you say that?"
Gwen sat down on Peter's bed, legs dangling in the air, kicking slightly.
"Because I know that you must be in a very low mood during my absence, Gwen, and you must have a lot of things in your heart."
"Yes."
Gwen took a deep breath and looked at the "pattering" rain outside.
She told Peter: "When I had a moment of realization that you might not come back, Peter, I was terrified."
"I don't realize at all what it means to me if you are not with me, Peter."
Gwen stood up, hugged Peter, and said in a low voice: "Do you know how worried I am? You bad guy, you let me leave alone first. I will never leave again. Don't try to lie to me again, Peter."
"Forehead"
Peter was speechless. How did he become a liar?
Isn't this a normal choice?
I would be worried if I let you stay.
However, feeling Gwen's true feelings, he swallowed the above words, hugged the girl and comforted her softly.
What I did was indeed a bit unfair. I asked Gwen to leave directly, as if I didn't consider her as my own.
Although it was for Gwen's safety, it would inevitably cause Gwen to have many thoughts.
Many thoughts flashed through Peter's mind, but he said nothing.
Gwen held him tighter, as if to knead him into her.
Then before Peter realized what was happening, Gwen's kiss touched him.
Gwen suddenly launched another sneak attack.
And in more unexpected ways than ever before.
Gwen might have been a little shy before, but now she is much more enthusiastic.
All of this was somewhat unexpected for Peter.
The raging fire, the lingering echo of the distant sound, and the warm and beautiful (and a little bit clumsy) collision of like-minded souls, approaching each other, weak and powerless, comforting each other for a brief moment.
Gwen seemed to become more emotional and proactive.
She stumbled and hit the desk.
Above their heads, the warm fluorescent lights made a buzzing sound like bees trapped in a jar.
Not exactly the same, yet consistent.
Gwen felt immersed in a wonderful atmosphere.
It seemed that everything around her was captured by her sensitive sensory world and was clearer.
The desk in Peter's room was tidier and the floor was cleaner.
Just in her wild thoughts.
Peter picked her up and placed her on the desk.
She pressed her knee against Peter, but this time it wasn't a kick like she had with those enemies - this time just light pressure, heat, and desire.
Peter held both sides of her head tightly with his hands and pulled her cheeks close.
"Are we doing something bad, Peter?"
Gwen whispered in a hissing voice.
Peter looked at Gwen's red ears and pretended to be serious.
"No, of course not, Gwen, we're exchanging feelings."
He noticed that Gwen had been developing a little too fast recently.
Girls really change a lot when they grow up.
"I don't believe what you're saying now."
Gwen tried not to sound nervous.
"Boom!"
Suddenly there was a loud thunder outside.
Gwen was startled and quickly moved her hand away.
She was frightened by the thunder, which fully demonstrated her true nature of being fierce on the outside but weak on the inside.
After adjusting her mood, she saw Peter's teasing look at her and became a little angry.
Soon she came close again.
"Your eyes seem to be mocking me, Peter. I'm going to punish you!"
While Gwen was punishing Peter, the little rascal was browsing his phone in the room.
The headlines of the news were still about the battle between a group of Spider-Men and their successors.
Everyone is very interested in the origins of Spider-Man.
And there is constant speculation about the identities of the villains that Spider-Man fights.
Just as she was browsing the news, Phantom Cat suddenly called her.
The Phantom Cat in Green Goblin Gwen's world has now completely fallen in love with the life here.
The little rascal even doubted whether she would ever want to go back.
"Hi, Anna."
"Hi, Katie."
Phantom Cat was at the party right now, and Rogue could hear the noise coming from the phone.
"What are you doing, Anna?"
The little rascal was lying on the bed, listening to the sound of rain outside, and said, "I am in a trance now. This state is very strange. I seem to be able to predict anything, just like the master weaver's web of fate, seeing the future and destiny." She joked to the phantom cat.
"Really? Then can you tell what I'm wearing now?"
Phantom Cat asked with a smile as he followed her words.
The little rascal looked at the anti-contact gloves on his hands and said, "Okay, your question is too stupid. You are wearing your school uniform."
"Oh, yeah. Uh, okay, so, what do I have in my hand now?"
"Hmm, Katie, let me guess, a teddy bear? A squirrel? A strange-shaped cup filled with black coffee? I don't have the ability of clairvoyance. My witchcraft can only do one thing and one thing only, and that is to see the bad things that will happen to you in the near future. That's it, game over."
Phantom Cat said, "Uh," "That sounds real."
The little rascal coughed, "Of course it's true."
"Well, yes, thank you for saying that. I guess you will immediately tell me about the bad luck that happened to me, which was that I went to the woods to find some poisonous mushrooms, then ate them and fainted, and when I was unconscious, I was bullied by a bear, haha."
Phantom Cat continued what she said, and then laughed as he spoke.
Rogue admired Cat Phantom's association and replied to her, "Katie, it is such a 'beautiful' thing for you to tell a young girl about people and bears. It has filled my impressionable head with a picture of an involuntary human fighting a bear."
Phantom Cat laughed, "Haha, okay, so let's get to the point, Anna."
"What's the topic?"
"About the party, aren't you at Peter's house right now?"
"Yes, by the way, I have good news for you, Peter is back!"
Phantom Cat made a surprised sound, "Really? That's great! Peter is fine. This is the best news I've heard recently."
She was in a much better mood because of Peter's return, and soon turned the topic to the party.
"You have no idea, Anna, this is a weird place for a party."
"Why is it weird?"
The little rascal also became curious about the party.
Due to her mutant abilities, she cannot touch other people's skin, so she rarely attends such parties.
Phantom Cat didn't say anything, but sent her a video invitation.
After hesitating for a moment, the little rascal chose to accept it.
Although it was a little late, as long as I kept my voice down, I wouldn't disturb Peter and Gwen upstairs.
After answering the video invitation, a shocking picture came from the phone.
The burning car in the dark night was emitting fierce flames.
Next to them was a crowd of people shouting excitedly.
The partygoers, who seemed to be students, were shouting loudly at the burning car, looking excited.
"boom!"
Not only was the burning car not extinguished by the rain, but it exploded even more violently.
The partygoers nearby shouted "Geldof! Geldof!"
"What is this? Did you set a car on fire to celebrate your party?"
The little naughty asked in disbelief.
"Also, what is this 'Geldof'?"
In response to the question asked by Little Naughty, Phantom Cat immediately pointed his phone at a blond man.
The other person was surrounded by a group of students and seemed to be very popular.
Phantom Cat explained to her: "He is Geldof, a mutant, and he was the one who blew up the car."
The student next to him seemed to think that Geldof's behavior of exploding the car was cool, so he excitedly shouted to him: "Hey, there's another car over there, let's go for that one!"
He urged Geldof to work on another car.
Anyway, it's not his car, he just wants to see the excitement.
When Geldof heard the voice asking him to continue working on the other car, his eyes instantly became sharp.
He directed his sights toward the other car.
Everyone held their breath, looking at him with anticipation and nervousness, expecting him to continue to display his supernatural power and use his mutant superpowers to blow up the car.
The little naughty boy was also looking at the screen nervously through the phone screen.
Suddenly!
Suddenly, the sound of a police car siren was heard.
It seems that a police car is heading this way.
At the sound of the police car, the partygoers immediately made a noise.
"Oh my God! Run! The police are coming!"
“This is so exciting!”
"I'm dead! If I get caught by the police!"
Phantom Cat was originally holding up his cell phone, live streaming everything that happened to Little Rogue, but when he saw the police car coming, he had to put the phone away.
"I have to go, the police are here!"
She turned the phone's view so that her face was facing the little rascal.
As Phantom Cat ran forward, he asked the little rascal on the other end of the phone, "Is this what you meant by predicting my bad luck?"
"Everyone, don't move!"
"I said everyone stop right there!"
The policeman got out of the car and shouted to the crowd.
Of course, Phantom Cat would not stay there foolishly, so she ran forward quickly.
There were screaming and panicking crowds all around.
Phantom Cat followed a few people to a place and was immediately dumbfounded.
Because there was a wall in front of her!
"Well, it turns out the worst thing is being blocked by this wall."
While escaping, Phantom Cat did not hang up the video call and continued to complain to his friends.
"But luckily I also have super powers."
She muttered something into her phone, activated her super powers, and passed through the wall in an instant, leaving everyone staring at her disappearance in amazement.
Finally, Phantom Cat escaped to a bus stop.
Panting, she picked up the phone and said to the little rascal who hadn't hung up yet, "Okay, I'm safe."
Rascal:".?!"
She didn't know what to say.
After a while, she asked the other party: "What are you doing?"
Phantom Cat explained to her: "That guy, the tall, thin blond guy, Geldof, he blew up a few cars on the lawn, and all the partygoers got excited, and then you see, the police came and everyone ran away."
The little rascal continued to ask: "How did it explode?"
"I don't know, he seemed to explode as soon as he thought about it."
"how is this possible?"
"Who knows? Maybe that's what his mutant powers are."
The little rascal sat up from the bed and asked, "Do you know him?"
"He's an exchange student. He seems to be a new transfer student to our school. Maybe he used some tricks to deceive people."
Phantom Cat shared the information he knew, "These boys just like to play tricks."
Little Naughty felt uneasy, "You can't be so high-profile, I mean as a mutant."
On Earth-65, although the status of mutants is not as low as that in the main world, they are still separated from the mainstream of society.
Although some mutants have always wanted to change their environment and live in peace with humans, due to the inherent xenophobia of humans, mutants have always been discriminated against.
Since Little Naughty cannot touch human skin, she is even more cautious about what she sees from humans.
Before she met Peter, she had always been a loner in school and rarely interacted with others.
Even to join Tony Stark's underground adventure plan, it took a lot of courage.
But fortunately, I participated in that adventure and met Peter.
