Chapter 242 Gwen’s little happiness!
“It doesn’t matter who we are.”
The woman said to Tony Stark, "What matters is that you are still alive. You are our priceless treasure."
Tony Stark looked towards his chest.
There were many bandages there, and waves of pain shot through my body.
He immediately began to recall what happened before he fell into a coma.
I went to the experimental building from the hotel, but just arrived at the laboratory.
The explosion swept through the laboratory, and he was hit in the chest by the explosive and fell into a coma.
Damn!
The last time I fought with that guy Danvers in the underground copper mine, I was also injured in the chest.
Just after he recovered from his injury, his chest was injured again.
Why is my heart always so unlucky? !
"What do you want to do?"
He tried to stand up, but he felt pain in his chest and couldn't move at all.
"We just need your help."
The woman smiled at him and said, "What happened before can only be described as an accident. We are deeply sorry."
Tony Stark lay on the bed, trying to keep half of his body upright.
"You almost murdered me. Can you say that was an accident?"
"That's not our intention."
"I don't want to argue with you. It doesn't make any sense to me."
Tony Stark said to her, "How do you want me to help you?"
“Eliminate greed, superstition, and anarchic selfishness, and build an orderly and logical world.”
Tony Stark found it a little ridiculous when he heard the other party say this.
"This world we build must be under your supervision, right?"
"Of course, let's keep it under our supervision. In this world, who else is more qualified than us mutants?"
Tony was stunned and asked the other party: "Are you mutants?"
"Yes, we are mutants."
Tony stared at the other person's face. "I know one of you. I remember her name is Little Naughty. She is a smart girl, but unlike you, she doesn't have such big ambitions."
"Then I am honored to be compared by you, Mr. Stark."
The woman smiled and said to him, "But when it comes to ambition, you're actually quite ambitious, right?"
"what?"
Tony had no idea what the woman meant.
"This research center, located in Mali, appears to be conducting biological genetic research, but we know that you have been secretly studying those horrible creatures here."
The woman said something that made Tony nervous.
"Aliens, that's what you call these creatures, right? You secretly sent the information about aliens you collected in the underground copper mine here for secret research. Although it's called 'secret research', you can't hide it from everyone."
Tony Stark took a deep breath and asked her, "How did you know?"
“We always find out what we want to know.”
Tony Stark listened to the other party's words, and the expression on his face was no longer as calm as before.
He did send here all the alien-related things he found in the copper mine.
Previously in the underground world, Peter had been deeply impressed by his battle and interaction with the aliens.
He developed a strong interest in alien creatures.
In order to avoid unnecessary trouble and for the sake of complete confidentiality, he placed the laboratory here.
And he always felt that Peter had a complicated relationship with the alien.
In order to figure it all out, he plans to go to the secret laboratory here to find out about the alien creatures and the relationship between them and Peter.
"I do not understand."
Stark covered his chest and felt a tightness in his chest.
"What on earth do you want after all the trouble you've put in?"
Panting slightly, he asked the woman, "Do you want the results of my research?"
"No, it's more than that."
The woman paused and said to him, "We want to know what you experienced in the underground world of the copper mine."
"You guys are more interested in the aliens, right? Not me."
Tony Stark endured the pain in his body and got out of bed.
"In addition to the alien, we are also interested in Spider-Man. It is said that he can control the alien. Is it true?"
Tony panted slightly, "Hehe, then you should kidnap Spider-Man instead of me."
"We did want to do that, but he's a mysterious man, not as easy to find as you."
The woman watched Tony try to move and warned him, "Be careful, you might fall."
As soon as he finished speaking, Tony staggered.
"That's all. You kidnapped me just to try to get information about Spider-Man and the Alien from me?"
Tony asked her, holding onto the wall.
"I said, not only that, we also want you to invent an electromagnetic pulse transmitter for us. A high-power one that can shut down the power supply of a city."
"Don't think about it!"
Tony stopped the other person before he could finish.
"What do you want to do with this thing? Terrorism?"
"Secret."
"impossible!"
Tony Stark said excitedly, "I can't do it for you."
But he soon realized that something was wrong with his body.
My heart was beating violently, as if it was about to jump out.
He fell to the ground, clutching his heart.
"Your heart was severely injured in the violent explosion. If you don't get treatment, you may die."
The woman smiled and told him the problem Tony was facing.
"My people will find me."
Tony, who was lying on the ground, said while enduring the pain.
"I have no doubt about it, but only if they find you."
The woman clapped her hands, and several people came out of the corridor, picked up Tony Stark, and walked outside.
"Take him to the armory, give him enough materials, keep an eye on him, and let him build the pulser."
"Yes."
When the soldiers took Tony Stark away, the woman's appearance began to change.
The color of the skin began to change, and finally turned from snow-white to blue.
Mystique, also known as Raven Darkholme, stared at Tony Stark's back as he left, and her expression became serious.
She held out her arms toward the door.
Rubber-like arms extend outward.
"Clap!"
Her deformable arm flipped the switch to close the door.
As a mutant, Mystique's superpower is the ability to change her own cells and tissue structure, allowing her to change into anyone's appearance, including irises, fingerprints, skin texture, voice and even gender.
What she wears can also mimic the texture of any clothing, even glasses.
In addition, she has a very BUG superpower, similar to Mr. Fantastic, which is to change the flexibility of her body like now.
She can change the size, strength, hardness, flexibility, etc. of her body, but she cannot change the mass of her body. Moreover, the greater the difference between her changed form and her original form, the more painful it will be, and she will die if it exceeds a certain limit.
"Good luck, Mr. Stark." The next day.
Peter was reading a newspaper in the room.
The front-page headline of the newspaper was still the disappearance of Tony Stark.
Peter didn't take his disappearance seriously.
This guy survived a disaster and will probably become Iron Man in the future.
For this guy's opportunity, Peter didn't want to disturb him.
If I mess up his good thing, he will blame me.
Compared to the disappearance of Tony Stark, the most important thing he should do now is to find the whereabouts of the little rascal in the "Green Goblin Gwen" universe, and by the way, see if he can wake Green Goblin Gwen up.
Although he felt the latter hope was very slim.
"So. When do we leave?"
Gwen leaned over to him and asked.
She was worried about the Green Goblin Gwen's condition, so she wanted to get there as soon as possible.
"I think I should explain this to Uncle Ben."
Peter said that he had not been to school for several days in a row, and Aunt May was kept in the dark, but Uncle Ben knew it clearly.
"About my not going to school for several days in a row."
"Well, that's a problem."
Gwen nodded, "I thought Uncle Ben was so busy fishing these days that he forgot about your schooling."
Gwen is wearing a light yellow sweatshirt today, and she looks a bit mature.
"Uncle Ben loves fishing, but he's not the kind of guy who'd throw everything out there just to go fishing."
Peter put the newspaper down.
"I have always thought that if there was someone who could look like me and go to school normally, there wouldn't be so much trouble."
Gwen thought about it and said, "Well, it's just like what MJ said before about clones or robots. Unfortunately, we don't have such ability. Maybe you can let your parallel universe self do this kind of thing."
"Do not."
Peter shook his head. "In addition to clones and robots, or homologues from parallel worlds, I know of another ability that can do it."
"what?"
Gwen asked curiously.
"One of the mutants has the ability to transform themselves into someone else. Not only can they look like anyone, but their irises, fingerprints, skin texture, voice and even gender can all be exactly the same."
“That’s kind of scary.”
Gwen said, "I hope I never see a mutant like this, like you standing in front of me."
"Green Goblin Gwen" universe.
Gwen was standing in the hotel parking lot waiting for Peter.
With the sound of squeaking brakes, Peter's rented car stopped in front of him.
According to Gwen, her super powers have to be used sparingly.
Otherwise, if the isotopes are used up, she will never be able to turn into Spider-Woman again.
So she asked Peter to rent a car for transportation for both of them.
Then Peter jumped out of the cab.
Peter's clothes weren't fancy stuff: a blue plaid shirt, straight-leg jeans without a single hole or cut in the legs, and a pair of brand new cowboy boots.
Gwen looked at herself.
He was wearing a pure white T-shirt, his jeans had a hole on the left knee, there were three uneven diagonal lines on the right thigh, and he was wearing a pair of canvas sneakers that looked more grey than white.
In comparison, she felt like a high school student who liked to chase trends and didn't like to study.
As a result, her mouth became dry and her whole body felt uncomfortable.
This is not like me.
Gwen quickly realized that it was probably because MJ had previously described her as a childish high school girl who had not graduated from high school, that was why she cared about Peter's opinion.
"Don't think too much about it."
Gwen slowly approached Peter and warned herself, "Why bother yourself? Be strong so that Peter won't think you are a childish and immature little girl."
"What are you thinking about?"
Peter got out of the car and asked her.
He didn't know that Gwen had already thought so much at this moment.
"I wonder if you are the ferocious lion, Peter, and I am the gentle antelope."
Gwen said, shrugging her shoulders.
"Hmm, a docile antelope?"
Peter stared at Gwen, "Are you saying that you are a very easy prey, Gwen?"
“Well, that’s a nice extension.”
Gwen smiled and hugged Peter's arm, "Peter, although your words are cruel, I have found that you always draw energy from other people's weaknesses."
"I'm not as negative as you say."
Peter asked Gwen, "Do you think this car is okay?"
"It's OK. I think it's good."
Gwen replied.
"No matter what kind of car it is, I don't think it matters, as long as I can be with you, Peter. I don't think it matters what kind of car it is. I mean, it feels really good to be able to drive around this strange city with you."
Gwen spoke her true thoughts.
After experiencing different parallel worlds and witnessing many tragedies, especially that between Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, she felt that being with Peter was the best happiness.
Peter looked at Gwen and nodded slightly, "Then get in the car. I'll be your personal driver."
The car was speeding on the road.
“This is a very nice city.”
"Nice," Gwen repeated, looking at this world's New York City. "It looks like a nice city."
She repeated the words in her mind again, but they sounded more like taunting.
In fact, New York in this world is similar to Philadelphia and Richmond in Earth 65, neither of which is very clean.
But Gwen liked the grime of the streets, the maze-like winding roads, the wind that smelled of chemicals, and the polluted air that mixed with the smell of garbage and various foods.
She felt that this breath made her feel close to them.
"Would you like anything to eat?" Peter asked Gwen.
Gwen's stomach growled.
She really wasn't ready yet, not at all.
"No, let's do our work now."
Gwen said this, even though now she wanted to do something that young couples did.
Watch a movie and have dinner.
Even though the movie was terrible and the dinner was mediocre, I still enjoyed it.
In the cinema, the two sat shoulder to shoulder, and in the Italian restaurant, they sat face to face.
Whenever Peter asked a question, gave her a look, or held out his hand to her, she would say something cheerfully, look around, or draw her hand back and put it on her lap.
Just like two magnets facing each other, there is only attraction.
This won't do, Gwen thought over and over again.
I can't let my imagination run wild!
Now it’s business. I’m not here for tourism.
Suddenly!
Peter's eyes grew serious.
"what happened?"
"Something has entered here!"
