Chapter 13 Ointment Massage
The second floor of Kang’s Medical Clinic.
"Come on, take off your clothes!"
"You can scream if it hurts, and I'll try to be gentle."
"Stop for a moment. Are you practicing those special skills? If not, you don't have to take off your underwear."
"..."
Qi Sui lay face down on the bed with his hands under his chin, naked except for his underwear.
"Come on, raise your arms!"
A burly middle-aged man was doing whatever he wanted to Qi Sui's body. He poured the pharmacy's secret Runzhiling ointment into his palm and smeared it evenly all over the boy's body, turning his slightly pale skin into a shiny brown.
Qi Sui closed his eyes and enjoyed it.
The pair of wandering hands were covered with calluses and were rough, but full of powerful strength, and the massage was moderate, allowing the ointment to fully penetrate into the severely damaged muscles.
The light cool feeling gradually drowns out the muscle soreness.
"Life force +1, mental strength +1"
"Life force +1, mental strength +1"
"..."
Phantom translucent green numbers floated above his head.
"Young man, how is my cooking skill? Is it okay?" the middle-aged man took the initiative to talk.
Qi Sui narrowed his eyes and said, "Very impressive, uncle should be a veteran employee of the clinic, right? This massage skill is amazing!"
“Hahaha, I've been working under Master Kang for almost ten years. Many big shots have praised my unique massage skills. It's just that you're lucky today, there aren't many customers in the clinic, otherwise it wouldn't be your turn to enjoy it.” The middle-aged man laughed heartily.
He originally thought that high school students like Qi Sui who looked immature were mostly socially anxious, but he didn't expect that this guy spoke very nicely, which made him interested in chatting with him.
"Have you heard of Qin Long, the master of the martial arts gym? He is a martial arts master who is well-known in the martial arts world of our Xia country. Every time he comes to the pharmacy, he will ask me to give him a massage by name."
"If you haven't even heard of Old Qin, can you still be considered a Qinhai City native?" Qi Sui smiled and replied, "I didn't expect that I would also enjoy the treatment of a martial arts master today."
Qin Long, the owner of Qin Long Martial Arts School, is a legendary figure in Qinhai City.
As early as more than 50 years ago, he won the supreme honor of being the top scorer in martial arts in the martial arts college entrance examination of Xia State.
Later, he graduated with brilliant results from Qinglong University, the top of the four major martial arts academies in Xia Country. He was selected by the central government to join the upper echelons of Xia Country's martial arts. He was the talk of the town and overshadowed many of the proud sons of the time.
Just when everyone thought he would achieve extraordinary success with his invincibility, who could have expected that God would be jealous of his talent.
He was severely injured in a fight in a secret realm.
Although he was lucky enough to survive, he had no hope of becoming extraordinary in this life. Feeling disheartened, he chose to return to his hometown and founded the Qinlong Martial Arts School. Many outstanding warriors came out of the school and spread their influence on the territory of Daxia.
"Young man, I saw you wearing a school uniform just now. You should be a martial arts student from Qinhai No. 1 Middle School, right?"
"Which martial arts school did you learn from?"
The two chatted casually, and the man's hands were firm, causing Qi Sui's bones and veins to make comfortable and crisp sounds from time to time.
"The martial arts school is too expensive, I haven't been there yet."
"You've never been to a martial arts gym?"
The man stopped his movements, then continued massaging, saying, "Young man, you can't save this kind of money. If you want to achieve good results in the martial arts college entrance examination, it will be difficult if you don't join a martial arts school."
Qi Sui certainly knew this truth.
The significance of a martial arts school to martial arts students is far more important than those extracurricular tutoring classes in previous lives.
The martial arts education popularized in Xiaguo High School is all very basic content. If one really wants to practice something and derive the skills to a high level, the only way is to join a martial arts gym where there are powerful martial artists or even martial arts masters.
"Uncle, I'm not trying to save money, I just can't come up with it. My parents are both working class. The entrance fee of 500,000 yuan to Qinlong Martial Arts School would require them to spend nearly ten years' salary without eating or drinking." Qi Sui smiled bitterly.
The middle-aged man seemed to be thinking about something, and said, "So that's how it is. If you have not joined a martial arts school and have reached this level entirely through your own exploration, it means that your basic talent in martial arts is very good." The number of martial artists he has massaged is at least eight hundred, if not a thousand.
Qi Sui's muscles gave him a very "powerful" feeling, which was considered top-notch among martial artists. If he had professional guidance and proper training, his strength would increase very quickly.
"I do know a few friends over at Qinlong Martial Arts School. I heard that they are recruiting people with martial arts skills to work part-time. The remuneration is not low, and if you perform well, you might even get some pointers. How about it, are you interested?" asked the middle-aged man.
Hearing this, Qi Sui subconsciously wanted to sit up, but was pushed down on the bed by that person again: "Is there such a good thing? Of course I am willing to go, even if there is no reward, it is good to go in and see them practicing."
"That's fine. Just tell the manager there that it was me who recommended you."
The middle-aged man smiled.
For him, this kind of thing is just a matter of a word. As for whether Qi Sui can catch the eye of Qin Long Martial Arts School, that depends on his own ability.
"Okay, the massage is over. Do you want to add more time?"
The middle-aged man squeezed Qi Sui's feet hard several times, then stood up and packed his things.
"No more, sorry to bother you uncle."
Qi Sui turned over and sat up, stretching his body for a few simple moves.
The bones and tendons made bursts of explosive sounds.
It's like a rusty machine that has been idle for many years is suddenly lubricated and becomes unusually smooth.
[Vitality: 101/110]
[Mental power: 113/150]
It’s worth the fifteen thousand!
"Okay, remember to give it a five-star rating. Go and clean it."
The middle-aged man waved his hand and disappeared out the door.
Seeing that there was no one around, Qi Sui took off his underwear and got into the bathtub next to him.
The bathtub is filled with medicinal herbs, which are helpful for repairing the body, but the price is much cheaper than "Runzhiling Paste" and it can be considered a free item in the massage package.
After a simple wash, Qi Sui put on his clothes and walked downstairs with wet hair.
While it was still early, he wanted to go to Qin Long Martial Arts School to check out the situation.
"Qi Sui, how do you feel?"
Kang Qinghe sat at the counter, biting a yogurt straw at the corner of her lips, and was carefully reading a pathology book.
Qi Sui bowed his hands to express his gratitude: "Kang's Medical Clinic is well-deserved. I feel much better now. If I need anything in the future, I'm afraid I'll have to come to your house to trouble you."
"It's not a big deal, just bring enough money!"
Kang Qinghe took a sip of yogurt, and two cute dimples appeared on her pretty face: "But you still have to take care of your body when you practice in the future. Martial arts requires gradual progress. The first injury is relatively easy to treat, but if you don't pay attention to nourishing your body later, it will become more and more difficult until it leads to an incurable hidden disease."
"Okay, okay, thanks for the reminder, we'll meet again if we're lucky." Qi Sui expressed his gratitude again.
"Saying goodbye to me is not a good thing. It would be best if you never see me again!"
Kang Qinghe shook his head and lowered his head to continue studying the pathology book.
Qi Sui looked at the black hair that fell on the girl's cheek for a few more seconds. There seemed to be a black line slowly moving under her thin and tender right cheek skin.
Are you blind?
He shook his head without thinking any more, lifted the door curtain and walked out of the clinic. The cold air hit his face and rushed into his chest, making him feel indescribably refreshed. He waved his hand to stop a taxi.
"Qinlong Martial Arts School."
