As for 10 degrees or 20 degrees, that is very easy. An object that is 20 degrees Celsius higher than the background will be as bright as the sun in the eyes of a mercury cadmium telluride detector.

This temperature, or a higher temperature, can be easily achieved by missile-borne refrigeration equipment. For the Institute of Radiation Research, it can be said that it has solved the ultimate problem of all their infrared detection equipment at one stroke - the sensor.

Gao Zhendong was relieved. He knew that the performance of this detector was worse than that of the mercury cadmium telluride detector he had seen in his previous life. This was normal.
