Chapter 332 Arhat Reincarnation

Chapter 332 Arhat Reincarnation
"I wonder what level of hell cultivation the two brothers have reached now?"

Li Ye hesitated for a moment, but still asked the question.

"Now I have reached the sixth level of Great Scorch."

Big brother Li Xingyun said lightly.

"Where's the second brother?"

Li Ye turned his attention to his second brother Li Xiuyuan.

"Now I am already an eighth-level Great Scorch."

Li Xiuyuan spoke of his own hell with a smile on his face.

Hearing this, Li Xingyun and Li Ye were a little surprised.

"Second brother, why is your hell so high?"

Li Xuanchen and Li Linyu spoke in unison.

Although Li Xiuyuan's guardian spirit is the great god-level Dragon Subduing Venerable, Li Cunxiao and Li Yuanba are both the strongest human martial spirits, no worse than Dragon Subduing Venerable, and they are younger than the two of them, so the hell should not be so high. "This is a long story..."

Li Xiuyuan explained to his two brothers why he possessed such a high level of hell.

It turns out that Arhat is the abbreviation of Arahant, which contains the meanings of killing the enemy, no birth, and worthy of offerings.

Killing the thieves means killing all the thieves of afflictions, being unaware of birth means being free from birth and death and not being reborn, and being worthy of offerings means being worthy of offerings from heaven and earth. In Hinayana Buddhism, it is the highest level of attainment achieved by the disciples of the great Buddha. Arhats are all pure in body and mind, have cut off ignorance and afflictions, have been freed from birth and death, and have attained Nirvana. They are worthy of respect and offerings from all people and gods. Before the end of their life, they still live in the world with few desires, pure precepts and virtues, and teach and save people according to circumstances.

The fruition refers to the state that can be achieved when practicing Buddhism. There are four fruitions in Hinayana Buddhism, namely Arhat, Anagami, Sakadagami and Sotapanna; there are three fruitions in Mahayana Buddhism, namely Buddha, Bodhisattva and Arhat. Hinayana Buddhism believes that there is only one Buddha in the world, and this Buddha is Sakyamuni Buddha; while Mahayana Buddhism believes that all living beings have Buddha nature, and everyone can become a Buddha, and the highest state of personal practice is Buddha.

The highest level of attainment in Hinayana Buddhism is Arhat. The saints in Hinayana Buddhism do not seek to become Buddhas, but only to enter the realm of Nirvana, and then stay in Nirvana, and no longer save sentient beings, so they cannot be called Bodhisattvas, nor can they become Buddhas. The Mahayana Bodhisattva path, although entering Nirvana, does not stay in Nirvana. Although it can free one from birth and death, it is still inseparable from birth and death. It is in order to facilitate the salvation of sentient beings with affinity, so it is called the Bodhisattva path.

As the guardian deity of Buddhism, Venerable Jianglong is extremely powerful. He is a disciple of the Buddha and has boundless magical powers. He helped the Buddha to subdue dragons and demons and accomplished many remarkable feats.

He practiced for tens of millions of years but could never achieve the right result and could not attain enlightenment and become a Buddha. After seeking advice from Guanyin, he learned that he had unfinished earthly ties from seven lifetimes, so he came down to earth to save all living beings and end his unfinished earthly ties.

He was reincarnated as a mortal, with the surname Li and the name Xiuyuan.

Born in Tiantai, he came from a distinguished family. He was a descendant of the Li Tang royal family and the eighteenth-generation grandson of Emperor Gaozu of Tang, Li Yuan.

He was later known as Living Buddha Jigong, whose Buddhist name was Dao Ji.

He wore a tattered hat, a tattered fan, tattered shoes, and dirty patched clothes, and looked seemingly insane. He first became a monk at the Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, and later lived at the Jingci Temple. He was not bound by the precepts, was addicted to wine and meat, and behaved like a madman.

He was a learned and virtuous monk, listed as the 10th patriarch of Zen Buddhism and the th patriarch of the Yangqi School. He wrote volumes of "Juanfeng Yulu" and many poems, which are mainly included in "Jingci Temple Records" and "Taishan Fanxiang".

He is good at medicine and has cured many difficult and complicated diseases for the people. He is also good at fighting injustice, helping the poor and the needy, eliminating violence and protecting the good, and punishing the evil, leaving a unique image in people's minds. Although the reincarnation of the Dragon-Subduing Venerable has infinite merits and benefits all living beings, the Dragon-Subduing Venerable only feels guilty about Li Xiuyuan.

The reincarnation of gods is a part of the soul consciousness attached to the human soul. Unless the godhood is abandoned, it is impossible to truly reincarnate. Li Xiuyuan used to have his own parents and a fiancée, and he was happy. A family that accumulates good deeds will surely have more blessings. However, under the influence of the consciousness of the Arhat who subdues the dragon, he suddenly realized the truth and became a monk.

This caused his parents to die of depression, his fiancée to go insane, his family property to be seized, and he fell insane from then on and became Ji Dian. Although his merits were fulfilled, the state of mind of the Venerable Jianglong was damaged and no longer perfect.

The damaged state of mind of the Venerable Jianglong still could not achieve the true Great Perfection and attain Buddhahood, so after he separated from Li Xiuyuan's soul,

Waiting for the reincarnation of Li Xiuyuan's original soul, and this person is Li Ye's fourth brother, also named Li Xiuyuan.

In order to make up for Li Xiuyuan, repair his own state of mind, and achieve true perfection, he became Li Xiuyuan's guardian spirit, serving him, protecting him, and ensuring his safety for the rest of his life. In fact, there is a way for gods to truly reincarnate, that is to give up their godhood and enter the Wuxiang Gate with a complete soul.

Divinity represents great power and respected status, but it also represents extremely strict restrictions. The human world has its own laws, and the universe also has its own rules and regulations.

If one has divine nature, he will be restricted by the rules of heaven. That is why Tiangang Longqi chose to use such an inefficient method as soul attachment. Because they are unwilling to abandon their true divine body and come to the underworld.

Gods with divinity cannot truly descend to the underworld or the human world. Azazel is a fallen god. He gave up his divinity so that his soul could come to the underworld.

Having a godhead means having a system recognized by heaven and earth, and being recognized by the laws of the universe. If a god loses his godhead, he will become a simple and powerful individual. "It is precisely because I am the reincarnation of Living Buddha Ji Gong, with the blessing of my realm and merits in my previous life, that I can make rapid progress in the hell realm in this life. At such a young age, I have reached the eighth level of great scorching heat."

After listening to Li Xiuyuan's explanation, Li Ye and the others suddenly realized that Li Xiuyuan was actually the reincarnation of Dao Ji, an eminent monk in the Southern Song Dynasty.

You have to know that there is a difference between a true Shenwu spirit host and a Tiangang Dragon Chess General. When the quality of the guardian spirits of Hell are the same, the true Shenwu spirit host must be more powerful.

Tiangang Longqi's method of attaching the soul to the mask and manipulating the puppet as the spirit host is too restrictive.

First of all, he has no five senses, and relies on spiritual power threads to sense the surrounding situation, which is called divine sense. However, the weakness of divine sense is too obvious, and it can be avoided by concentrating spiritual power or using cover.

There are five types of combat undead: human martial spirits, beast martial spirits, demon martial spirits, fairy martial spirits and divine martial spirits.

Human martial spirits are divided into: low-level human martial spirits, intermediate human martial spirits, high-level human martial spirits, top-level human martial spirits, super human martial spirits and the strongest human martial spirits.

The top-level human martial spirits are those generals and fierce men who have left their names in history. The super human martial spirits, in this book, are set to be half a level weaker than the strongest normal human martial spirits, and can fight with normal human martial spirits for a period of time.

In the comics, the most obvious example is Huo Qubing, who was able to hold his own against the normal Lu Bu for a while.

The combat power of a super human martial spirit is equivalent to that of an ordinary divine martial spirit of the middle or lower level. It can fight against ordinary divine martial spirits and even defeat and kill them.

In fact, the super human martial spirit is the strongest human martial spirit before the god-killing. In other words, the super human martial spirits are all candidates for the strongest human martial spirit.

The strongest human spirits such as Lu Bu and Xiang Yu were super human spirits before they successfully killed the gods.

Of course, every superhuman martial spirit has the potential to kill gods, but this is related to willpower, opportunity and luck.
