Chapter 55 The Land of Eternal Night
Darkness, endless darkness enveloped the earth.
Even the faint starlight in the sky could not penetrate the darkness.
There was no sound, and it seemed that there was no living creature.
Suddenly, ripples appeared in space, bringing a touch of color to this monotonous world.
As the ripples shook violently, a large hole suddenly appeared and a figure walked out of the hole.
"Bang!" The sound was very obvious in the silent ground.
"Why is it like this again?" Ishikawa Akira lay on the ground. After a while, his body began to tremble and his lips turned purple.
The new world we crossed over to this time was even worse than the ruins of Grimd. Not only was the gravity stronger, it was also bone-chillingly cold.
The cold is even worse than that at the North and South Poles of the Earth. Ordinary people exposed to this environment would probably turn into ice sculptures in an instant.
Inside Ishikawa Akira's body, the four colors of light were running violently, bringing a hint of warmth to his body.
After a long time, Ishikawa Akira finally stood up from the ground trembling. Although he had a superhuman physique, he was now running a big nose.
"Where is this place, sucks?" Ishikawa Akira looked around but couldn't see anything beyond five meters.
All you can see nearby is pale sand, without a single sign of life.
Ishikawa Akira took heavy steps and began to explore this unknown new world.
A cold aura continued to sweep through his body, and the originally active four-color light in his body also showed a hint of sluggishness.
After an unknown amount of time, Ishikawa Akira finally saw traces of civilization.
That should be a village. The buildings look very different from those on Earth, but more complex. It can be seen that the original civilization here can be compared with or even surpass that on Earth.
Ishikawa Akira approached the village, but still did not see any people. He plucked up his courage, went to a house and knocked on the door.
After a long while, there was no sound at all, as if it were a ghost village.
Ishikawa Akira pushed the door open with force.
"What is that?" He saw a white outline in the darkness.
"Oh my god!" When I got closer, I saw that it was actually a skeleton.
The shape of the bones was very similar to that of humans. Ishikawa Akira picked up a bone and weighed it. He found that the bones were very heavy and countless times stronger than human bones.
The natives here are inherently powerful, and probably had life levels of E to D when they were alive.
Ishikawa Akira's life level and light energy level have both reached D+, and he is only one step away from super evolution, but he is still not as good as the natives here.
They were born here and are naturally adapted to gravity that is over a hundred times stronger than on Earth. They may not be as strong as Ishikawa Akira, but they are the most suitable for survival here.
Ishikawa Akira walked around the village and found many skeletons. These bones were basically the same as human bones, but a very small number of them had extra features that humans did not have. For example, some skulls had a pair of horns, and some bones had a single horn.
"How did they die?" Judging from the situation, there was no fight before these people died.
Perhaps, this was once a warm place, but became cold for unknown reasons, and these indigenous people were frozen to death.
Ishikawa Akira temporarily settled down in the village and found some clothes from the indigenous people to wear, which barely kept him warm.
He planned to wait until the sun rose before leaving. This wait lasted a whole day. If it weren't for the fact that he had Kallen II, which could clearly tell the passage of time through artificial intelligence, he would have thought it was night.
"So, this planet has no sun?" Ishikawa Akira racked his brains, but could not remember such a place in the Ultraman series.
"We can't wait any longer!" Another half day passed, and there was still no sign of light in the sky. Ishikawa Akira packed up and started to set off.
I don't know how far I have walked. There is no trace of water along the way, only barren and lifeless land. The road is rugged, but after a day of rest, Ishikawa Akira has now adapted to the gravity here.
After walking for two days, Ishikawa Akira finally saw traces of civilization again.
This time it was a city that looked more spectacular, and when we got closer we saw that the buildings were taller than those on Earth.
"What is that?" A four-colored flame rose in Ishikawa Akira's eyes, and the dark city suddenly became as bright as day in his eyes.
He saw that the city was emitting an aura of despair all the time. This horrific aura of despair had materialized and condensed in the air, turning into a black ball.
Faintly, his eyes saw through the black ball and saw a young, ferocious monster. The black ball seemed to be its cocoon and despair was its food. With the nourishment of despair, it would soon break out of the cocoon.
"The evil in people's hearts has been born! This demon will be born soon!" At this moment, a long-lost voice came to Ishikawa Akira's mind.
His face lit up with joy, and his thoughts quickly entered the spiritual space.
"Mr. Iida, are you awake?" In the space, the ancient warrior stood meticulously in front of Ishikawa Akira. His originally illusory body became solid again after a long sleep.
"Where is this place and why did the demon in the human heart give birth to it?" asked Jingtian Jinglong.
“What is the demon in the human heart?”
"The demon in the human heart is born from human emotions. The most negative emotions will give birth to the most terrifying monsters!" Jingtian Jinglong explained.
"When I was born, wars broke out everywhere and people were living in poverty. Many demons with human hearts were born, most of whom were killed by me. Some very powerful demons were sealed by me. As time passed, these demons nurtured by human hearts lost their source of power under the seal and gradually withered!"
So, the demon in the human heart is actually a negative energy monster? Ishikawa Akira thought to himself.
Since the Tiga universe has entered a period of great peace, except for the monster incidents, humans themselves live a very happy life, and there are few monsters with negative energy.
But it's not impossible. Ishikawa Akira vaguely remembered that in the later plot of Ultraman Tiga, there was a human who was heartbroken. The negative energy in his sleep was exposed to cosmic rays and he turned into a monster.
"So, you are no longer on Earth? You came to a new planet by accident?" Ishikawa Akira explained the situation to Iida Iiryu. Except for not mentioning the existence of the system and the space-time hole, he basically told everything.
Ishikawa Akira nodded.
"Since there is negative energy, there must be survivors in this city. If you find the survivors, you will naturally understand the situation here!"
"Mr. Iida is right, but before that, I have to seal it first!" Ishikawa Akira raised his head and looked at the cocoon where negative energy gathered in the sky.
"That's how it should be!" Jingtian Jinglong nodded.
As long as the connection between negative energy and the cocoon is cut off, the young monster will lose the nourishment of negative energy, and it will be like it has not fully developed. It will naturally not have the ability to break out of the cocoon, and will die on its own after a long time.
Because the gravity of this planet is too terrifying, Ishikawa Akira is no longer able to fly for a short period of time under the influence of the stroke element.
Four kinds of light lit up on his body at the same time, adding to his body. He barely leaped up, using the tall building as a leverage point, and quickly reached the rooftop, facing the cocoon of negative energy.
