Chapter 1: Eye-to-eye contact on top of the warrior
O50 Warrior's Peak
Violent snow and wind blow on the highest peak of O50 all year round. Although the environment here is unimaginably harsh, many aliens still come here because according to legend, those who reach the top of the warriors have the opportunity to gain unimaginable power.
On this day, Kai and Gaigula, who lived in O50, finally made up their minds to reach the top of warriors together.
They have lived in O50 since they were young, and reaching the top of warriors has been their childhood dream. Even though they saw countless people coming forward and eventually dying on the way to the top of warriors, it did not make them back down.
Different personalities also lead to different situations. Kai is too kind and simple, and doesn't like fighting. But Jagger is different. In order to gain the power to become a warrior, he has been traveling and fighting in O50 since he was a child. In less than ten years, he has learned his own swordsmanship - Snake Heart Swordsmanship! Even in O50 where there are many aliens, he is not a weakling.
Although Kai exercises all year round and hunts in the gathering place, he is still far inferior to Jagger.
Kai and Gagra are very good friends. Gagra knows that without his help, Kai has no chance of reaching the top of warriors, but Gagra doesn't care about that.
Because it is also his wish to reach the top of warriors with Kai.
In front of the majestic giant peak, the two men are as insignificant as two ants, but ants also have the courage to challenge the giant peak.
"Kai, let's go!" Gagra said as he looked at the huge mountain peak in front of him.
"Okay!" Kai responded.
Garuru was wearing a black suit and climbing in front of Kai, blocking some of the wind and snow for Kai. Kai was wearing a coarse linen shirt and even with Garuru's care, he still felt the biting cold.
No one knew how much time had passed until the eyebrows of Gagra and Kai were dyed white by the wind and snow. Gagra was still gritting his teeth and holding on in the front, while Kai behind him was already shaky.
When Gagra climbed to a slightly larger landing place, he breathed a sigh of relief and finally got a moment's rest.
Pulling the shaky figure below onto the platform, the two sat on the small stone platform and took a short rest.
If it weren't for the fact that the two were aliens with naturally strong physiques and years of exercise, ordinary people on Earth would have been unable to move forward in this environment.
"Gagra, if I fail to reach the top of the warriors and eventually die on this road, when faced with the choice, don't hesitate and give up on me!" The simple young man looked at the desperate mountain above with a faint smile on his lips. In this cold snowy mountain, it was like a ray of sunshine that made people feel warm.
"Why? Kai, didn't we agree that we would reach the top of the Warriors together!" Although Gagra knew that it would be difficult to climb the mountain this time, what he wanted from the beginning to the end was that they would reach the top of the mountain together.
"You are stronger than me. I am just a burden to you. If you can't reach the top of the mountain because of me, I won't be at peace even if I die!" Kai's words were plain, but his determination could be seen from his firm eyes.
"It's enough to say this once. Don't say it again! I said, we are partners, we will definitely climb up together!" Gagula growled, his eyes revealing determination and ruthlessness.
The two were silent for a long time. After resting for a while, they recovered some of their strength and continued to climb to the top of the mountain.
An unknown amount of time had passed. Although the two of them were able to find a place to rest on the steep cliff from time to time, they were so exhausted that even Gagra felt physically and mentally exhausted, let alone Kai.
Not until they had finished eating all the food they brought with them did they finally see the end of Warrior's Peak. Although their bodies issued warnings, the feeling of seeing hope still boosted their morale.
After a short rest, the two launched the final charge towards the Warrior's Peak.
Using his physical potential, Gagra used his hands and feet to quickly climb to the top of the mountain, but he did not notice that Kai behind him was falling further and further away, and his body was becoming more and more shaky.
Until Kai let out a muffled groan, his feet slipped, and he fell from near the top of the mountain.
"Kai!" Gagra was horrified. Without any hesitation, he flew down. Fortunately, the two were not far apart, and in mid-air, Gagra grabbed Kai's hand.
The other hand pulled out from behind, and a flash of bright silver passed across Kai's face. Kai opened his eyes with difficulty and saw that Gagra was holding him with one hand and holding a sharp sword in the other hand, with the blade inserted into the cliff.
"Jakula, leave me be. You can reach the top of the warriors by yourself!"
"Stop talking nonsense, Kai. The top of the warrior world is right in front of us. How can we give up?" Gagra gritted his teeth and threw Kai up with all his strength. The two of them grasped the hilt of the sword at the same time.
This sword was made of an alloy sword made by Gagra using the hardest metal in O50. It was extremely hard and strong enough to support the weight of two people. The hilt was slightly longer, so the two people could barely hold the hilt together. "Go!" Gagra grabbed the hilt with one hand and supported Kai with the other hand to make it easier for him to climb.
Finally, under the escort of Gagula, a figure in tattered linen clothes reached the top of the mountain with one hand, rolled over, and lay on the flat ground on the top of the mountain, gasping for breath.
Behind him, Gagra followed closely.
Not far away, a dazzling halo stood quietly, emitting a faint and soft light.
Just as Gagra was about to walk towards the halo, his pupils suddenly shrank and a strong sense of crisis spread in his heart. This was the sense of crisis that a powerful swordsman felt after experiencing countless crises.
Without hesitation, he pulled Kai back until they reached the cliff.
"What's wrong?" Kai asked confusedly.
Before Kai finished speaking, the snowflakes in the sky suddenly stopped, and ripples appeared in the space like the sea. With a "ripping" sound, a big hole was instantly torn in the space like a piece of rag, and a young man walked out of the hole.
The young man had a handsome appearance, with flowing medium-long hair, but he was obviously weaker than Gagra and Kai in physique. After coming out of the cave, he was able to remain calm at first, but in less than a minute, his body was shaking violently. Even from a distance, Gagra could hear the "click click click" sound of his teeth clashing.
After the young man walked out, the hole in space behind him closed.
The young man turned his head and glanced at Kai and Gagra. Gagra couldn't help but look into his eyes. In the young man's eyes, he saw hope and a desire for power.
The young man did not speak to the two of them, but walked tremblingly towards the ring of light.
"Gagra?" Kai looked at Gagra, then looked at the young man not far away and reminded.
"Let's wait a moment!" After a moment of silence, Gagula decided to wait and see. After all, the sense of crisis just now could not be faked.
The young man's hand tremblingly reached out for the ring of light. Slight ripples appeared on the ring. Suddenly, the ripples became violent. Lightning flashed on the ripples. The young man groaned in disbelief and was flung several meters away.
Jagger could clearly see that the light of hope in the young man's eyes had dimmed.
Just when Gagra thought that everything was about to end, the young man seemed to have rekindled hope. He sat up suddenly and stared straight at the ring of light.
After a moment, ripples flashed on the ring again. Inside the ripples, it seemed as if something was about to rush out, pushing the ripples up. Finally, a ray of four-colored light broke out of the ripples, rushed towards the young man, and merged with him.
In an instant, the young man's body seemed to be strengthened, and his violently shaking body gradually calmed down.
A smile appeared on the young man's lips. He glanced at Gagra and the other two behind him, and his mouth twitched slightly.
Ripples suddenly appeared in the air, and the space was torn like a rag. The young man's figure was covered by the hole in space. After a moment, the hole in space disappeared.
Gagula stared blankly at the place where the young man disappeared, and in his mind was the words the young man said when he left:
"We will meet again!"
This is the first time I write a novel. I’m a new author and my new book is new. Please be gentle if it’s not well written.
Since I am writing books part-time, I cannot guarantee two updates a day, but I will definitely update once a day.
I will try to keep updating. If there is anything unreasonable, I hope you can point it out.
It is inevitable that the first book will have bad results, so just treat it as a practice and try not to overdo it!
