Chapter 28: The Ordinary Market
Zhang Tie shook his head. It was not worth it.
"Wait," Zhang Tie suddenly remembered something. "If I practice this technique to its full potential through the system, it is very likely to break through the original limit of the technique!"
"Isn't this the Flying Goose Technique?" Thinking of this, Zhang Tie suddenly became excited and hurriedly began to practice this technique.
"It's so uncomfortable!" Zhang Tie regretted it right after using this technique. Zhang Tie's energy and blood surged, and his muscles suddenly swelled up like balloons.
"Too careless!" Zhang Tie thought to himself that it was not good. He suddenly remembered why Nangong Gangtie only used this technique when he was forging iron!
I have so much energy but nowhere to vent it!
Zhang Tie felt very uncomfortable, and finally had no choice but to use his invisible escape technique to fly out of the market, and found a deserted place and ran wildly.
This Qi and blood power is real physical power. Consuming magic power will not allow Zhang Tie to vent his energy at all, so Zhang Tie had no choice but to run for a whole night before he could barely use up all the energy.
After returning to the cave, Zhang Tie felt as if his body was hollowed out. He no longer had the energy to make talismans and just fell asleep.
“Fortunately, I didn’t exhaust my body, otherwise it would be the same as overdrawing my body!” Zhang Tie felt relieved when he woke up the next day, as he did not feel any discomfort.
"I wonder if using the elixir would be better?" Seeing that there were no side effects, Zhang Tie's mind became active again.
"I need a way to quickly vent my energy. It has to be fast and I have to be able to do it continuously. It's hard to find!"
Zhang Tie had a worried look on his face. He stayed in the cave for a long time but still couldn't come up with a solution.
"Forget it, let's go out and relax first." Zhang Tie then went out and stopped a cultivator at the third level of Qi training and asked him where there were fun places.
“Senior, there is a secular place nearby with many strange and weird things. Many cultivators who have no hope of advancement will gather there.” The Qi training level 3 cultivator who was stopped said tremblingly.
"Okay, thank you." Zhang Tie didn't care whether it was true or false, so he left a few useless primary-level talismans and went straight to the place the cultivator mentioned.
"Thank you, senior!" The Qi-cultivating cultivator was overjoyed, then looked around with a vigilant look and immediately moved away from there.
"It's quite lively!" After a while, Zhang Tie arrived at the place the monk mentioned. After a casual stroll, Zhang Tie found that there were indeed many interesting places in this mortal market.
Looking around, in addition to some small stalls where people set up stalls to sell their wares, there are also many corners where a group of weird mortals or even cultivators at the first level of Qi training are selling some immortal cultivation items with strange uses.
Zhang Tie was strolling along the way, his arms already filled with a lot of delicious things. At this moment, he was holding a skewer of meat in his left hand and a chicken leg in his right hand, stuffing it into his mouth.
His mouth was full of oil, but he didn't care at all and continued to eat the skewer of meat in his left hand. Suddenly, a scolding interrupted his eating action.
"Hey, where did you come from, you country bumpkin? Why are you buying these mundane things in this market?" A chubby-faced girl stopped Zhang Tie who was eating, and then curled her lips in disgust.
"???"
Zhang Tie was full of questions at this moment. In this world of immortal cultivation, are there any cultivators who would casually provoke a stranger cultivator whose depth they don't know? Before Zhang Tie could react, the fat-faced female cultivator continued, "But I see that you have amazing bones, and you are a good seedling for immortal cultivation. Do you want to cultivate immortality?"
Zhang Tie realized that this was a secular place, so the behavior of the fat-faced female cultivator should be normal, right? Zhang Tie thought uncertainly.
"Yes!" Zhang Tie didn't think much about it. He came out to have fun today. Why would he avoid something interesting?
The fat-faced woman was a little uncomfortable seeing Zhang Tie agreed so quickly. This place was originally a place where many ordinary people came to look for immortal fate, so it was not surprising that there were some ordinary people who knew how to cultivate immortality.
But normally she would go through a lot of trouble to fool someone. I didn't believe it. Then I saw the fat-faced girl display her magical powers and was shocked. How come today she only needed one sentence?
"Come with me!" Since Zhang Tie believed it, the fat-faced woman was too lazy to continue talking nonsense and directly took Zhang Tie to a remote place.
“Don’t look around after you go in. Just be obedient and I will naturally teach you the method of cultivating immortals.” The fat-faced woman said without even looking at Zhang Tie, and knocked on the door.
Zhang Tie looked up and saw a rather classical door in front of him. After a while, the door creaked open.
A tall figure walked out from behind the gate, glanced at Zhang Tie, and then handed the fat-faced woman a bag, which seemed to contain some silver or something.
The fat-faced woman opened the bag and immediately showed a look of surprise. She thanked quickly and left in a hurry, leaving only Zhang Tie and the woman.
"Come in." A clear and pleasant female voice came over.
"Okay." Zhang Tie looked at the woman in front of him with great interest. With Zhang Tie's cultivation level, he could tell at a glance that the woman was a cultivator at the third or fourth level of Qi training, so naturally she posed no threat to him.
Passing through the courtyard full of green bamboo, the woman led Zhang to a quiet courtyard and said, "Wait here for a while. I'll make some preparations."
Then the tall woman left.
Squeak,
With a slight sound, the tall woman pushed open the door of a quiet room and saw a man with a dark face sitting cross-legged on the bed.
"Have you brought people?" The man opened his eyes and said with a gloomy face, "Don't tell me you haven't found the strong man yet!" As the man's voice fell, a powerful pressure pressed down on the tall woman.
"I," the woman gritted her teeth, but still hesitated.
The woman's real name was Zhang Xiangling. She was the only daughter of a wealthy family in the local area. A few months ago, a strange man suddenly fainted at her doorstep. Being kind-hearted, the man took him home to treat him. Unexpectedly, the man refined the woman's family into his soul as soon as he woke up. Zhang Xiangling escaped the disaster because she was out for fun.
The man originally wanted to kill Zhang Xiangling when she returned home, but for some reason he did not do it. He just told Zhang Xiangling to help him collect men with strong qi and blood. After collecting 9981 of them, he would let her reunite with her family.
"Humph!" Seeing Zhang Xiangling hesitate, the man threatened, "You'd better hand her over now, or you'll never see your parents again!"
The man closed his eyes after saying this. In his heart, he was thinking bitterly, "I never thought that I, a fake Dan cultivator, would be defeated by a black boy who has not even reached the foundation building stage!"
Then the man looked at the trembling woman in front of him, "But it's a good thing I met you! A five-element spirit, it's worth it even if I become a woman!"
